Janet Mancuso

Janet C. Mancuso, 83, entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 17, 2025, in Goshen, NY. Janet was born on March 16, 1941, in Nyack, NY, to Roger and Maude (Thorington) Hamilton. She enjoyed a fulfilling career with MetLife Insurance, from which she retired after many years of dedicated service. Her retirement allowed her to explore a variety of interests and hobbies that she loved deeply, particularly fitness. Janet was passionate about maintaining an active lifestyle, participating in marathons, playing tennis with friends, joining local bowling leagues, and hiking in the great outdoors.

Janet was also a lifelong animal lover. She always had a special place in her heart for pets, and her home was often filled with the sounds of her beloved animals. She was well-known for her compassion and willingness to help animals in need, whether by adopting strays or feeding homeless creatures she came across.

In 1991, Janet married her beloved husband, Frank Mancuso. Together, they shared many wonderful years, creating memories in their cherished cabin in the woods. Janet was predeceased by Frank in addition to her stepson, Thomas Mancuso. Janet is survived by her children: Charles Reynolds Sr. and Tammy Reynolds; her step-daughter, Vicki (William) Griffin and her step-daughter in law Cathy Peluso; her beloved grandson, Charles Jr.; and her step-grandchildren: Daniel, Bianca, Patsy, Hailey, Mia, and Luke.

Arrangements are under the care of Donovan Funeral Home, Goshen, NY. A private burial will take place at a later date.
