Janet Budd

La Vegas, NV: JANET V. BUDD Janet "Grannie" Budd was born April 13, 1910 in Raphine Virginia, the daughter of William and Jane Drawbond Morrison. She moved to Goshen, NY in 1937 and married Franklyn Budd, who predeceased her in 1979. She was also predeceased by her son Franklin (Mary Kay), granddaughters Shannon and Carrie Lynn Budd and sisters Carrie, Bessie, Helen, Gladys, Evelyn and Ruby. She is survived by her son Elmer Budd, Goshen, NY and daughter Joy Morse (Steve Trueman), Las Vegas, NV.; Grandchildren Laura Kruskall (Nick); Scott Budd, Jessica Gordon, Jeannine Conrad and Franklin Budd (Leigh Ann); Great Grandchildren Scott Gordon, Leighann Gordon, Amanda Conrad, Ashley Conrad, Freddy Conrad and Tyler Budd and her beloved sister, Rose Snider. Grannie Budd cared for children of working mothers for 25 years - some still came to see her. She graciously gave her love, wisdom and faith to all of her children and grandchildren. Grannie was both the eldest member and the longest member of her beloved Goshen United Methodist Church. She relied on her great faith to see her through many illnesses and great personal loses. She was an Honorary Member of the Cataract Engine and Hose Company, Goshen, NY Visitation will be at the Donovan Funeral Home, Goshen NY on Sunday Nov. 25 from 4-8 PM and a funeral/memorial service will be held at the Goshen United Methodist Church, Main Street Monday Nov 26th at 10:30 A.M., the Rev. Steven Peiffer, presiding. Burial will be in Slate Hill Cemetery, Goshen, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to Goshen United Methodist Church 110 Webster Ave. Goshen, NY 10924.
