James Smith

James Arnett Smith, Sr., 91, of Aldie, VA, entered into rest on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Betty's Place, Manassas, VA. James was born June 20, 1926 in Mississippi, the son of Oscar and Willie Smith. He was the widower of Hilda Taylor Smith. He served in the US Navy during World War II from 1946 to 1948. He retired as a Bus Dispatcher. He is survived by his children James A. Smith, Jr and wife Onelia; Philip A. Smith and wife Sandra and Brenda Shannon and husband Linwood. Visitation will be Thursday, December 7 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 511 Mt. Hope Road, Middletown, NY; with the Service beginning at 12 noon. Interment will follow in the Orange County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Goshen.
