Jack Knight

Jack Leland Knight, 61, of Goshen, died Thursday, November 16, 2017 at home. Jack was born September 25, 1956, and was the son of Robert and Beverly Knight. He was formerly from Monroe and a Monroe Woodbury graduate. He was self employed as a Contractor; he loved to listen to the Beatles, and Elton John; he was an avid Giants and Yankees fan and he enjoyed deep sea fishing and hunting. Jack enjoyed entertaining his family and friends at his home in Goshen. Jack will forever be in our hearts, we will forever miss his presence in our lives. He is survived by his wife, Gia L. Knight at home; son, Derek J. Knight of Goshen; daughters, Rachael M. Knight of Goshen and Carly L. Knight and companion Dave Williams of Chester; brother, John S. Knight of Fort Lauderdale, FL; sisters, Ruth A. Stack of Jackson, NJ, Jan M. Vanhage of Chester; mother-in-law, Michele Weigel of Washingtonville; sister-in-law, Sheila St. Lawrence and husband George of Goshen; three grandchildren, Aalijah Knight, Carmella Ferraro and Noah Williams and a granddaughter on the way; and several nieces and nephews. Jack was predeceased by his parents, his brother, Robert W. Knight, Jr. and brother-in-law, Roy Stack. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 21 from 4 to 7 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. The Funeral will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. Burial will follow in Slate Hill Cemetery, Goshen.
