Iris Vega

Devoted wife and mother, Iris Vega, age 92, of Pine Bush, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 5, 2020. Mrs. Vega was born July 1, 1927 in Manhattan, NY. She is the daughter of the late Pedro and the late Carmen (Rosairo) Segarra. She was employed by Bond Clothes Department Store, as a Window Dresser and Administrator in the1950's. Iris was an avid bowler a loved bingo. She moved to Monroe in the 1960's and then moved to Kissimmee, Florida in the 1980's. She will sadly be missed by her husband of 71 years, Richard Vega; her four sons; Richard Jr. and his wife Debbie, Danny Vega, Gary Vega and Peter Vega and his wife Denise; grandchildren, Christine Petrella and Rich Vega; step granddaughter, Alexis Robinson; and great grandchildren, Justin, Liam, Evelyn and Camden. She was predeceased by her step grandson, Justin K. Robinson. A private service for immediate family will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 Arrangements under the care of Donovan Funeral Home, Inc.
