Henry Latasa

Henry Joseph Latasa Passed in peace Friday, December 20, 2013 at home with his family. Henry was born June 12, 1938 and enjoyed a lifetime in Orange County, NY both in and outdoors. The son of the late James and the late Maria (Ybengoechea) Latasa, Henry leaves behind his wife Theresa M. Latasa, and children Fred Latasa-Nicks and husband Steven, Maria Glass and husband Kenneth, Jennifer Latasa, Robert Murphy and wife Christina. He is the proud grandfather of Jack and Owen Glass; Charlie, Peter and Henry Murphy. Henry will be fondly remembered by a wealth of nephews, nieces, cousins and a lifetime of friends. He was predeceased by his first wife Mary E. Latasa; and brother, James Latasa. Henry will be fondly remembered as a loving father, avid hunter, outdoorsman, generous friend and the life of the party. Henry received a bachelors degree from Iona College, spent a career in medical sales and proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. Visitation will be Friday, December 27 from 2:00 to 4:00PM and 6:00 to 8:00PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00AM on Saturday, December 28 at St. John The Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen, NY.
