HELEN G. VAN TASSELL GOSHEN, NEW YORK Helen G. VanTassell, 84, of Goshen, NY died Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at Orange Regional Medical Center-Arden Hill Campus, Goshen, NY. Helen was born February 13, 1924 in Warwick, NY the daughter of the late Frank and the late Mary Elizabeth (Webb) Sloat. She was the Widow of the Late Wilbur VanTassell, Jr and was a lifetime resident of the area. She is survived by her son Robert G. VanTassell and wife Gail of Harpers Ferry, WV; sisters, Sue House, Gertrude Clark and Mildred Rudy; 2 grandchildren, Rodney and Darin and 4 great-grandchildren, Calvin, Mason, Jack and Connor and many nieces and nephews. Helen is predeceased by her brothers, Charles & Frank and sister, Marion Visitation will be Sunday, December 7, 2008 from 3-5 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen. Funeral Services will be Monday, December 8, at 10:00 am in the Funeral Home, with Father Carl Lunden officiating. Burial will follow in Warwick Cemetery, Warwick, NY.
