Helen Plevretes

Helen Plevretes, 92, of Goshen, NY, died Friday, October 17th, 2008 at Orange Regional Medical Center-Arden Hill Campus, Goshen. The daughter of Aaron Librett and Lizza Kalen Librett, born July 11, 1916 in New Rochelle, NY. Helen was a dedicated artist who won many awards in shows across Orange County. She owned and cooked for the cozy Gallery Inn restaurant in Middletown for more than twenty years. Her beauty and charm will be sorely missed by her son, Stephen Portman and his wife Virginia, of England, two grandchildren, Kai Portman and Chloe Portman and great granddaughter, Alexia Portman as well as her friends. A Humanist Funeral Service will be on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 11:30 am at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, Internment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Middletown, NY.
