Helen C. Carswell, age 91, of Middletown, NY., died Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Orange Regional Medical Center of Middletown, NY. Helen was born May 28, 1921 in Warwick, NY. She is the daughter of the late Frank and the late Laura (May) Conklin. She was married to Late Elmer J. "Zeke" Carswell. Helen was a member of the United Methodist Church of Surf Side Beach, S.C., Past Matron of Amaranth Court #19 of Myrtle Beach, S.C. with dual membership of the Amaranth, Laurel Court #58 - Port Jervis, NY., Past Matron of Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter #301, Socste, S.C. She was an avid bowler and golfer. Past Champion at Johnson Golf Course She is survived by 1 Son - Andrew Dembek of Middletown, NY., 3 Grandchildren - Andrew Jr. and his wife Nicole of Goshen,NY.; Thomas and his wife Heather of Port Jervis, NY.; Christine and her Fiance Stan Lupinski of Bloomingburg, NY.; 11 Great Grandchildren - Melissa, Alyssa, Candice, Kaitlyn., Dillon, Tanner, Robert, Emily, Mary, Brayden & Braxton Visitation will be Monday, July 2 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. The Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am on Monday, in the Funeral Home with the Reverend Steven Peiffer officiating. Burial will follow in Wallkill Cemetery, Middletown, NY.
