Grace Garavuso

Grace Garavuso, age 97, of Goshen entered into rest Thursday, April 15, 2021 at home in Goshen. Grace was born September 10, 1923 in New York, NY. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Margaret (Desio) Morena. She married Richard Garavuso in 1946 and lived in Maspeth, NY. Many summers were spent aboard their boat The Cho Cho San at the Capri Marina in Port Washington, Long Island. In 1975 she moved her family to an estate in Campbell Hall, NY where they lived in harmony for almost 40 years. She was instrumental in raising her grandchildren and great grandchildren who adored her. She lived a life full of love, patience, and understanding. She is survived by her daughter, Katherine Kelly, three grandchildren, six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Richard, daughter Susan Zikoyanis and granddaughter Tina Kelly. A graveside memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 25th at 12:00 PM at Hamptonburgh Cemetery, Campbell Hall, NY. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made in Grace's name to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties.
