Gloria Gonzalez

Gloria Gonzalez, 85, of Chester, entered into rest on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh, NY. Gloria was born September 21, 1930 in New York, NY, the daughter of Salvadora Gonzalez and Marcelino Parrilla. She was the widow of William Gonzalez who predeceased her on April 26, 2015. Gloria worked for Esterman & Esterman, Bronx, NY and upon moving to Chester retired from Fabricant, Lipman & Kennedy, Goshen, New York as a Legal Secretary. Gloria was an avid reader and fan of the Yankees, an active participant of the Chester Senior Citizens Club, enjoyed traveling with club members and having get together's with family and friends. Survivors include her son, William Gonzalez, Jr. and wife Ada of Sloatsburg, NY; daughter, Diane Iamartino and husband Michael Jr. of Goshen; sister-in-laws, Clara Tripoli of Brooklyn; Ida Parilla of Columbus Ohio; 2 grandchildren, Eric and Alexandra Gonzalez; niece, Laura Tripoli and nephew, James Tripoli. Visitation will be Sunday, October 18 from 1 to 4 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. The funeral service will be held at 3:30 pm.
