Gertrude I. Cox Goshen, New York Gertrude I. Cox, 92, of Goshen, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, NY. Gertrude was born April 22, 1922 in Maybrook, NY, the daughter of William and Jane (Reidy) Lawrence; and was the widow of Willis Cox. She was a lifetime resident of the area. Gertrude is survived by her daughters, Sandra Ehrets of Hurleyville and Jane Tiller of Goshen; son, Robert Cox of Iowa; 4 grandchildren, Christopher Cox, Jason Tiller, Julie Furman and Josef Ehrets; 6 great grandchildren, Tyler, Jayson, Adam, Van, Anna, and Emma; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and 6 brothers and sisters. Visitation will be on Saturday, February 7, from 12 to 1 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY, with the Funeral Service in the Funeral Home at 1:00pm. Burial will be in Wallkill Cemetery, Middletown, NY at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to GOVAC, 7 New Street, Goshen, NY 10924.
