Gertrude Atkins Goshen, New York Gertrude Atkins, 90, of Goshen passed away Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Elant at Goshen in Goshen, NY. Gertrude was born September 2, 1920 in New York, NY, the daughter of Samuel and Eva (Morris) Ladner. She was the widow of George Bura Atkins. Gertrude was employed by Metropolitan Life Insurance, New York, NY for 23 years. She is survived by her son, Evan Atkins and wife Linda of Stamford, CT daughters, Donna Lee Lupo of Sherman Oaks, CA and Sharon Atkins of Middletown; 5 grandchildren, Craig, Lauren, Erica, Ashley, Kristin, and fianc Kyle. A Graveside Service and Burial will be held 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 15 at New Montifore Cemetery, Pine Lawn, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gertrude's name to Elant Foundation for Activities Dept. at the Goshen Nursing Home, 46 Harriman Dr., Goshen, NY.
