Frances Santos

Frances E. Santos, 73, of Middletown, died Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Middletown Park Manor in Middletown, NY. Frances was born December 23, 1942 in Middletown, NY, the daughter of Albert and Grace (Cooper) Ogden. She retired from Woolworth's in Middletown as a Waitress. Frances loved her family and the times spent together. She will be missed greatly. She is survived by her husband Harry Santos of Middletown, NY; their children, Harry Santos Jr. and his partner Sylvia Villafane of Liberty, NY; Doriann Zahorchak and her husband Robert of Milford, PA; Lisa R. Santos and her partner Robert Barrett of Bloomingburg, NY; and Candy M. Shurter and her husband Karl of Pine Bush, NY; sixteen grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren with another on the way; sisters, Mary Tomaszewski of New Hampton and Marjorie Battisti of the Villages, FL; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, William J. Santos; brother, Raymond Ogden; and two sisters, Helen Weyant and Hazel Towers. The family would like to thank Amanda Terwilliger and Christina Hillsman from Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties for their care and kindness towards Frances. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 9 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. The Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, August 10 at 11:00 am in the Funeral Home with the Reverend David Kingsley officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Montgomery, NY.
