Florence Mcdonald

Florence E. McDonald, 101, of Middletown, entered into rest on Monday, October 5, 2015 at Valley View Center, Goshen, NY. Florence was born March 4, 1914 in New York, NY, the daughter of the late Harry and the late Elizabeth (Levins) Decker. She retired after 40 years from Horton Memorial Hospital, Middletown, NY as a Registered Nurse. She is survived by her son, Thomas McDonald and wife Lillian; grandson, Michael McDonald and wife Lisa; and great grandson, Michael McDonald II. Florence was predeceased by her husband Harold T. McDonald; daughters, Harleen Hevener and Mary McDonald. A special thanks to the staff of D100 at Valley View Center and Dr. John Ferguson and his staff at Middletown Medical. Also the McNally's and the Petrosky's who looked after her at home. Visitation will be Saturday, October 10 from 8:00 to 8:30 AM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:00 am on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Our Lady Of Mt. Carmel, 90 Euclid Ave., Middletown, NY. Burial will follow in Wallkill Cemetery, Middletown, NY.
