It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Eugene Gagliano Jr, who left this world on September 2, 2026, at the young age of 55. Born on January 21, 1971, to Eugene and Irene (Cuocci). Gene proudly served his country with USMC including time served in the Persian Gulf and Kuwait. He served the city of NY as a member of the NYPD 46th pct in the Bronx for 26 years.

Gene is survived by his loving wife of 23 years Jennifer. Loving father to Kevin (21) Katie (20) and Kyle (16). Beloved son to Eugene Sr. (Theresa), and Irene Cuocci. He is also survived by his brother-in-law and dear friend John Sullivan Jr with whom he shared a very close and special bond. In addition, he is survived by his loving Godmother Marianne Chabla (Jose) and cousins Danielle (Jason) and Maryjo (Anthony).

Gene is predeceased by his Step-Father Steve Cuocci, Father-in-law John (Pa) Sullivan, Grandfather Louis Gagliano, Grandmother Mary (Pipia) Gagliano and his Aunt's Rosie, Olga and Lucy.

Gene was a brave and honorable soul throughout his life. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hosting BBQ's, and being there to support loved ones. Whether it was having a catch in the yard with his sons, or binge watching tv with his daughter Gene enjoyed the little things in life.

He is survived by his closest friends, who stood by his side through the years and became an important part of his family. Their friendship meant more to him than words can express.

He will be deeply missed by his extended family, friends and his brothers and sisters in BLUE.
