Estelle Nyland

Estelle M. Nyland, 88, of Goshen, entered into rest on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Valley View Center, Goshen, NY. Born August 29, 1927 in Jamaica, NY, the daughter of Charles and Mary (Thornton) Biehle. Estelle retired from the Scholastic Book Company in Englewood, N.J. as a Customer Service Agent. She was past President of the Closter Seniors and past President of the Fire Auxiliary in Closter, NJ. She is survived by her son Albert C. Nyland and wife Eileen of Slate Hill, NY; daughter Janice Nyland of Clinton, NJ; three grandchildren, Charles, Brent and Kristen Nyland; six great grandchildren, Ayden, Braedon, Angelina, Amelia, Camilla and Ella; and several nieces. Estelle was predeceased by her husband, Albert W. Nyland and sister, Joan Castles. Visitation will be Monday, October 5 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 P.M. at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 in the Funeral Home, with Pastor Rustico officiating. Burial will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ at 12:30 pm.
