Emily Kata

Emily F. Kata, age 86, of Goshen entered into rest Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Valley View Center for Nursing Care & Rehab, Goshen, NY. Emily was born June 12, 1926 in Goshen, NY, the daughter of Frank Kolman, Sr. and Rose (Kujawski) Kolman. Emily is survived by her daughters, Elaine McGrory and husband Robert Greene of Moorehaven, FL and Karen Dodd and husband Donald of Middletown, NY; granddaughter, Shannon Salo and husband Don; brother, Frank Kolman and wife Peg; sisters, Shirley Kolman, and Ceil Rice; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph E. Kata, who passed on February 26, 2009; her parents; sister, Florence Zak and husband Pete and brother, Eugene Kolman. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 10 from 6-8 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 11 in the Funeral Home.
