Emily Allen

Emily Allen, age 75, of Middletown, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2020 in Middletown, NY. Emily was born January 15, 1945 in Narrowsburg, NY. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and the late Pauline (Kuen) White. She graduated from Monticello High School. In 1964, she married the love of her life, Russell Allen. Throughout their 40 year marriage they faced their share of celebrations and defeats. They had 3 daughters; Roseanne, Irene and Iris. Emily enjoyed caring for children, playing games and crafts but more than anything, she loved caring for her grandsons. She is survived by her daughter, Roseanne Baker of Montgomery; Grandson Carl Baker, his wife, Sabrina; and great-grandson, Brayden, of New Windsor; Grandson Justin Baker and his wife, Kaitlin, of Montgomery; Grandson Desio Allen of Middletown and great-grandson, Desio Jr. of Middletown. In addition, Emily leaves behind two brothers; Fred Aguda and his wife, Lorelei, of Florida; and Paul Pippo and his wife, Darlene, of Fieldale, VA. She was predeceased by her husband, Russell and her daughters Irene Louise and Iris Lynn. Visitation will be Monday, January 27 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. The funeral will be held 12:00 pm on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church St., Goshen, NY. Burial will follow in Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery, Bloomingburg, NY. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the home of Justin and Kaitlin for a repast immediately following.
