Elsie Smith

Elsie E. Smith, 81, of Goshen, passed away peacefully August 15, 2016 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY. Elsie was born September 30, 1934 in Macedonia, PA, the daughter of the late Emmett and the late Elsie (Mabee) Cole. She was the widow of Robert A. Smith. Elsie was the former owner of Elsie's Luncheonette. She enjoyed working with the public and spent many happy years laughing, joking and singing and oh yeah.....cooking! She is survived by her three daughters, Sharon Grippe of Catonsville, Maryland, Christine Parliman and husband George of New Hampton, NY, and Katie Dolan and husband Tim of Wallkill, NY; 4 grandchildren, Frank and Bruno Campolo and Andie and Timmy Dolan; 2 great grandchildren, Daniel and Layla; her sister, Janet Grippe of Goshen; two nephews, Bruce and David Grippe and her niece Karen Grippe. Visitation will be Friday, August 19 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY, with the Funeral Service at 1 pm.
