ELEANORE L. MILLS MIDDLETOWN, NEW YORK Eleanore L. Mills, age 78, Middletown, NY died Saturday, January 6, 2007 at Park Manor Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Middletown. Mrs. Mills was born October 25, 1928 in Pearl River, NY the daughter of the late Alfred and Lucy (Holman) Blei. Eleanore was married to the late Richard Mills. She was employed as a Registered Nurse by Nyack Hospital, Nyack, NY. She is survived by daughter, Jeannie Mills of Middletown; sons, John Mills of Middletown, Stuart Mills and his wife Maralyn of Manchester, NH; five grandchildren, Richie, Katie, Elena, Carl and Shannon. Predeceased twenty-seven years earlier by the love of her life, Richard Mills. Mom had a wonderful life growing up in Pearl River. In High School she took flying lessons at the age of 16, where she was the first female to solo at Christies Airport in New City, NY. She went on to graduate Pearl River H.S. Class of 1946, Englewood Nursing School, Class of 1949. Elie worked at the Nyack Hospital Maternity Ward for over 30 years before her retirement in 1980 Calling hours will be Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church St. Goshen from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M.. The Funeral Service will be at the Donovan Funeral Home on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007 during evening calling hours. Internment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
