Edward J. Atkins

Edward J. Atkins, 59, of Goshen died Monday, October 17, 2022 at Garnet Health Medical Center, Middletown, NY.

Mr. Atkins was born August 29, 1963 in Bronx, NY, the son of John F. and Bernice V. Atkins. Ed graduated from Ithaca College with a degree in sports medicine.

He was an avid sports fan, a stay-at-home dad who was very involved with his kids' sports teams careers. He loved boating, fishing, reading John Grisham by the pool and most of all, spending time with Slider. Collector of all types of sports memorabilia and lover of his classic `93 Mustang.

Ed is survived by his loving wife Linda, 3 children, Conner, Peyton, and Ryan, His mother Bernice Atkins, 2 sisters, Vicky and Pat, 2 brothers, John and Bill, 1 sister in-law, Susan, 1 Brother-in-law, Mark, many nieces and nephews, 5 great nieces and nephews and pets, Aspen and Nike.

A Memorial Visitation will be Thursday October 20th, 4 - 7pm at Donovan Funeral Home, 82 S. Church St. Goshen NY 10924.

Burial will be on Friday October 21st, 11am at Wallkill Cemetery, 160 Midway Rd, Middletown, NY.
