Dorothy Rose

Dorothy C. Rose, 84, of Middletown, entered eternal rest on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Highland Nursing Home in Middletown, NY. Dorothy was born August 5, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Fred and Henrietta (Tinneman) Lahn. She was a long time resident of the area and worked as a seamstress. Her family remembers her always being a generous, whole hearted giver. She enjoyed and adored her grandchildren dearly, She will be deeply missed. She is survived by her children, Linda Benjamin and husband William, Patricia Krawcyk and husband Eddie, Nancy Romero and husband Joseph all of Middletown, NY, Frank Rose, Jr. and companion Fran of Huguenot, NY and Denise Delgado and companion Fred of Burlingham, NY; brother George Lahn and wife Roseann of Melbourne, FL; 13 grandchildren; many great, great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Charlie and Clifford Lahn and two granddaughters, Rebecca and Rachel Decker. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 24 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY, with the funeral at 7:30 pm in the funeral home.
