Dorothy C. Burns, 77, of Harriman, NY, died Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Celtic Hospice, Wilkes Barre, PA. Dorothy was born March 17, 1941 in New York, NY, the daughter of Cornelius and Dorothy C. Doody. She retired from Kohls in Central Valley, NY as a Customer Service and Jewelry Clerk. Mom, you will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you for your love and Christian guidance through my life, Donnie. She is survived by her children Donald W. Burns and wife Patricia of Little Ferry, NJ and Jodi M. LaBelle and husband John of Greeley, PA; sisters, Julia Parsons, Patricia McLaughlin and husband George and Maryann Vanacore and husband Mike all of Goshen; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Judith Law, Frank and Elaine Burns; five grandchildren, John Andrew and wife Jessica Carrigan; Jessica Lynn and Jake Thomas LaBelle, Sean Patrick and Shannon Abril Burns; three great grandchildren, John Andrew, Jr. and Jordyn Elizabeth and Jack James and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Andrew Burns, and nine siblings, William, Cornelius, Bernard, Daniel, Michael, Dennis, Katherine (Katie), Lenore and Theresa. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 27 from 5-8 P.M. at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Memorial Graveside Service will be held 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Orange County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 111 Craigville Rd, Goshen, NY.
