Dolores E. Kennedy Dolson, 87, of Port Jervis passed on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Milford Senior Care, Milford, PA. Dolores was born December 15, 1923 in Middletown, NY, the daughter of Roger and Bessie (Johnson) Miles. She retired from Middletown State Hospital, Middletown, NY and was a member of the Christian Women's Club, and Greenville Seniors. She is survived by children, Donald Kennedy and wife Christa of Port Jervis, Clarence Kennedy of Brandon, FL, James Kennedy and wife Martha of New Hampton, Martin Kennedy of Middletown; daughter-in-law, Georgene Kennedy of Midlothian, VA; 16 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; sisters, Pat Piatt and Bernice Pinkney and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husbands, Robert C. Kennedy and Herbert Dolson; son, Matthew, daughter, Susan; daughter's-in-law, Cheryl and Sue; grandson Todd Tuthill and brother, Don Miles. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to the Mildford Senior Care for the care their mom received. Visitation will be Saturday, March 26 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY, with the funeral service at 1:00 pm in the Funeral Home with Reverend William Wilderman officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgebury Cemetery, Ridgebury, NY. In lieu of flowers, Dolores, Mom, Nanny to many, loved her crocheting and handcrafts.
