IN LOVING MEMORY OF
David T.
O'Neill
February 21, 1943 – February 12, 2026
David T. O’Neill, loving husband of Girolama and proud father of William, David, Christine, and Kevin, passed peacefully on February 12, 2026, in Warwick, NY.
Born in 1943 to William and Popia in the Bronx, David grew up in East Harlem, where he met the love of his life, Girolama (who will be thrilled to deal with his antics in the hereafter). Together, they built a fulfilling life for themselves and their children, providing inspiration, guidance, love, and every resource they could muster.
He was more than just a Father, he was the Artist that painted the Yellow Submarine, the big kid who coached us, a student while helping us learn, a Mr. Fix-it when things needed fixing, a glorious map-head who never needed GPS, and a secret Santa who loved to watch us unravel gifts.
He was also a devoted and loving Grandfather to David, Kevin, Nicolas, Anthony, Heather, and Peter who will dearly miss him. He took great pride in each of their accomplishments and will continue to love and support them in spirit, alongside their Grandmother.
Finally, he shared a deep love for the spouses of his children, including Susan spouse of William, Angela spouse of David, Anthony spouse of Christine and Leilani spouse of Kevin. He placed great emphasis on the importance of loving unions and was always there with his support.
David preferred to avoid formalities and explicitly requested that there be no service. Instead, he encouraged everyone to remember him through acts of charity. Contributions in his name may be made to your favorite charity or to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan County ( https://tinyurl.com/bc6a76ky ).
