David Charity

DAVID GEORGE CHARITY GOSHEN, NEW YORK David George Charity, a longtime area resident, passed away in his Goshen home Saturday, November 22, 2008. The son of Melba and Wilbert Charity, he was born on May 2, 1944 in Buffalo, New York. A graduate of Columbia University, David moved to Orange County in 1968 to work at WALL Radio, as a disc jockey. Later, he moved on to WPLJ in New York City. Stints at WNSR, Fox Television and Westwood One followed. He is survived by his wife: Susan, and sons Sean and Adam. He is predeaseased by his parents and sister, Linda A. Miles. Visitation will be on Friday, November 28, 2008 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Memorial Service will be Saturday, November 29 at 12:00 at the Goshen United Methodist, 110 Webster Ave, Goshen.
