Curtis Price

Curtis R. Price, Sr., 56, of Goshen, entered into rest on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY. Curtis was born May 1, 1961 in Goshen, NY, the son of the late Clifford U. Price, Sr. and Barbara (Cooper) Price. He worked at Valley View Center, Goshen as a Building & Service Worker; he was a member of the Goshen Fire Dept. and past Captain and past President of the Goshen Fire Police. He volunteered at the Historic Track in Goshen. Curtis was a sharp dart shooter and pool player, he enjoyed softball and his nickname was Earl the Pearl and Big Daddy. He is survived by his mother Barbara Price of Goshen; son, Curtis R. Price, Jr. of Monticello, NY; sister, Florene A. Price of South Carolina; brothers, Clifford U. Price, Jr. and wife Yvonne of South Carolina and Craig W. Price of Virginia; Stepfather, Roger DeWitt of Goshen; three grandchildren, Cameron, Jaiden and Aaliyah Price; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Curtis was predeceased by his father, Clifford U. Price, Sr and grandparents, Emma Price and George and Mildred Cooper. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 30 from 4 to 7 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY; with the Funeral Service at 6:30 pm with the Reverend David Kingsley officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
