Clarence C. "Sam" Ohap, 84, of Goshen died Saturday, February 16, 2013 at home in Goshen. Sam was born February 28, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of John and Clara (Glowaczewski) Ohap. He was the husband of Eileen M. Lemka. Sam was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He retired from Orange County Dept. of Public Works as a Parts Clerk, and was a member of the Catholic War Veterans of U.S. Post 1923. He is survived by his wife, Eileen Ohap at home; son Mark Ohap and wife Patricia of Otisville; daughter, Bonnie M. Remer of Goshen; granddaughter, Krystal Ohap and numerous step grandchildren and great step grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 2 sisters, Rita and Clementine Olszewski and son-in-law, Joseph Remer. A Memorial Visitation will be Friday, February 22 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM & 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, February 23 at 10:00 am at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen,, NY. Burial will be at a later date in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Florida, NY. In lieu of flowers donations in Sam's name may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
