Chrisoula Hartofilis

Chrisoula Hartofilis passed away at the age of 75 on August 31, 2023 from pancreatic cancer. She was born on October 1, 1947 in New York City, NY to Anthony and Flora Markos (Markantonis). Chrisoula was predeceased by her parents and brother, Emmanuel. She was a resident of Deer Park, NY for over 40 years and recently moved to Clearwater, FL.

Chrisoula is survived by her three children: Daughter Flora and her husband Fr. Dimitri and their two daughters Arsenia and Chrisoula; son James and his wife Georgia and their son Alexandre; and daughter Eugenia and her husband Brian and their two children Anthony and Mary Ann. Chrisoula was an aunt, cousin and sister-in-law.

Chrisoula was a Clerical and worked for the Town of Babylon for over 20 years.

Chrisoula loved scrapbooking, crocheting, needlepoint and sewing. She made baby blankets for new born babies in the hospital that were in the NICU. Most especially she enjoyed making traditional Greek outfits for her grandchildren, teaching them about cooking, and all her hobbies and laughing with them.

Chrisoula was a longtime member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in West Babylon, NY as well as a member of St. Paraskevi Greek Orthodox Church in Greenlawn, NY.

Chrisoula was loved and will be missed by many. May her memory be eternal.
