C. MURRAY 'BUD' WALLACE September 11, 1918 - January 1, 2009 C. Murray "Bud" Wallace, 90, of Goshen, NY, died Thursday, January 1, 2009 at home. Murray was born September 11, 1918 in Goshen, NY the son of Charles H. Wallace and Gertrude M. Viebey Wallace. A lifetime area resident, he retired from the Orange County Government Center in Goshen and was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church in Goshen. He is survived by his sister, Ruth Laverty of New Windsor; sister-in-law, Eva Wallace of Florida; nieces, Susan Kenney of Cornwall, Shirley Brown of Tennessee, Jean Morrison of Tennessee and Laura Wilson of Florida; nephews, Robert Laverty of Wallkill and Stephen Wallace of North Carolina. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Jay Wallace; sister, Gertrude Vanderschaaf; brothers-in-law, Robert Laverty and Gerald Vanderschaaf. Visitation will be Monday, January 5, 2009 from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, January 5, 2009 at 1:00 pm at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave., Goshen. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Goshen, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in C. Murray Wallace's name to St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Avenue, Goshen, NY 10924.
