Carolina Basile, 74, of Middletown, NY, died Friday, May 1, 2009 at Orange Regional Medical Center- Horton Campus, Middletown, NY. Carolina was born October 1, 1934 in New York, NY the daughter of Frank Quaranta and Mary Martinelli Quaranta. She was the wife of Anthony Basile. Carlolina retired as a File Clerk for J.P. Morgan in New York, NY. She is survived by her husband Anthony Basile of Middletown, NY; daughter, Valerie Behler and her husband John of Wawayanda, NY; brother, John Quaranta of West Palm Beach, FL; sister, Julieann Agapito and her husband John of Monroe, NY; 2 grandchildren, Carolyn Behler and John Behler; and her godson, John Quaranta, Jr. and his wife Diane. She was predeceased by her son Jimmy Basile, her parents; sister, Dolores Platoni and 2 brothers, Pat and Frank Quaranta. Visitation will be Sunday May 3, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church, St. Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday May 4, 2009 at 11:00 am at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen, NY. Burial will follow at Wallkill Cemetery in Middletown, NY.
