Camelia Ruiz Goshen, New York Camelia Ruiz, 85, of Goshen died Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Orange Regional Medical Center-Arden Hill Campus, Goshen, NY. Camelia was born August 31, 1925 in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Marcolino and Carmen (Silvestri) Vazquez. She was a 10 year resident of Northgate Manor in Goshen, NY, a retiree of Ward Leonard Electric Co. in Mt. Vernon, NY, and a previous resident of the Norwood section of the Bronx, Co-Op City in the Bronx and Ocala, FL. Survivors include her daughter, Carmen Wooley and husband Ken of Goshen; grandchildren Laura Jean Mearns and husband Scott of Loxahatchee, FL; Ken Wooley and wife Julie of Westtown, NY, Steve Wooley of Wurtsboro, NY, Christen Mayo and husband John of Campbell Hall, NY; great grandchildren, Dillon, Taylor and Alexa Mearns of Loxahatchee, FL, Sammy Wooley of Westtown, NY and Anna Grace Mayo of Campbell Hall, NY; great great grandmother of Colton Mearns of Loxahatchee, FL; sister, Alma Mangual of Kissimmee, FL and another four sisters and one brother in Cabo Rojo, PR; and numerous nieces and nephews in Puerto Rico and New York City. Camelia was a member of the Goshen Senior Club and participated in many of their activities. She loved to play bingo and occasionally a fun trip to the casinos. No matter how hard she pushed those silly buttons she couldn't become rich. She lived her life to the fullest, travelled to many places, went bowling in a league in her prime years. Sadness surrounds everyone close to her. Good-bye Mommy and Grandma. We'll all see each other some day. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 19 from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY, with the Funeral Service at 4:30 pm on Tuesday in the Funeral Home, Inc.
