Betty Lou Johnson

Betty Lou Johnson, 81, of Middletown, NY, entered into rest October 5, 2015 at Elant, Goshen, NY. She was born on September 28, 1934 in Wyckoff, NJ. She was the daughter of the late John Monroe Widner and the late Iola (Van Der Beek) Widner. She was the loving mother of Sharon Ann O'Reilly and her husband Kevin of New Hampton, NY. She was also a caring grandmother to Donald and Sara, foster children of Sharon and Kevin. She is also survived by her brother John, and his wife Joyce, of Franklin Lakes, NJ. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold, and her son, Harold Jr. Betty was a graduate of Ramsey High school class of 1952. She was employed by Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ in the mail room, retiring in 2002. She was active in the Wyckoff Reformed Church, as well as the Ladies Auxiliary of the Spring Valley Fire Department. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
