BERTHA "BETTY" ELIZABETH BOYNTON MIDDLETOWN, NEW YORK Formerly of Goshen, NY Bertha "Betty" Elizabeth Boynton, age 86, of Middletown, NY passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2009 at home. Bertha was born June 26, 1923 in Middletown, NY. She was the daughter of Frank Elston and Harriet Beemer Elston. Bertha was the widow of Augustus W. Boynton, who predeceased her in 1990. She is survived by daughter, Ann Boynton of Goshen; grandchildren, Gayle Diana and husband Louis of Middletown, and Cassandra Regan and husband Michael of Newburgh; great grandchildren, Michael Regan of Newburgh, Kaitelyn Diana and Jennifer Diana of Middletown; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bertha was predeceased by her parents, husband Gus, siblings Mary Buckmaster (William), Edward Elston (Olive), Leslie Elston and Charles Elston (Constance). Graveside Service and Burial will be in Bullville Cemetery, Rt. 302 & 17K on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 11:00 am Donations may be made in Bertha's name to a charity helping disabled veterans.
