Beatrice Imbarrato, 79, of Goshen, NY entered into the presence of the Lord on Sunday, January 16, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family. Beatrice was born December 27, 1931 in New York, NY, the daughter of Francis and Mary (Conmy) Sexton. She was the widow of Mario C. Imbarrato who predeceased her July 11, 1984. She was also predeceased by her brother, John Sexton. Beatrice was a nurse and also sold real estate during her career; she was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Church in Otisville, NY and past member of St. Peter the Apostle in River Edge, NJ, and a member of the Rosary Society and the River Edge Ambulance Corp. Mamu , as she was affectionately called , loved her family and desired nothing more than to be surrounded by them at all times .She was the loving and caring matriarch of the family ; the essence of her life was being mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Betty loved the Lord and trusted Him in life and in death . She was a prayer warrior and lifted all things to the heavenly throne of the Father . She had a tremendous heart of service . She was very much loved and will be truly missed. Beatrice is survived by her 4 sons, Father Stephen Imbarrato of Albuquerque, NM, Dr. Francis Imbarrato and his wife Karen of Goshen, Mario Imbarrato and his wife Robin of Mount Hope, and Paul Imbarrato and his wife Christine of Washington Township, NJ; her sister-in-law, Joan Sexton; 12 grandchildren, John and his wife Susan, Gregory, Alicia and her fiance, Jake, Maria, Patrick, Bryon, Brendan, Sean, Casey, Domenic, Emily Kate and Christopher; great grandchildren, Ariane, Madeline, Connor, and Hayden ; nieces and nephews, Mark, Michael, Marybeth and Christina. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 19 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM & 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Fr. Stephen Imbarrato 11:00 am on Thursday, January 20 at Holy Name of Jesus, 45 Highland Avenue, Otisville, NY. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Goshen, NY. Memorial donations may be made in Beatrice's name to Project Defending Life 625 San Mateo Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108.
