It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Barbara E. Jensen, a loving mother and wife.

Barbara passed to her eternal resting place on September 25, 2026, in Deland, Florida. Barbara was 86 years old, born October 13, 1939, in Neptune, New Jersey to the late John F. Dill and Edith E. Dill (Shaffer). Barbara lived in Goshen, New York for 60 years before retiring to Port Orange, Florida.

Barbara enjoyed traveling and camping with her husband Robert, family, and friends. As a woman of faith, she was cherished for her devotion to anyone in need and served on the Building and Grounds Committee for 20 plus years. She enjoyed bowling, knitting sweaters and sewing, including numerous Halloween costumes for her family and grandchildren. Along with her service to her church, she was a longtime member of handbells and the choir.

As a longtime member of The First Presbyterian Church in Goshen, NY and Port Orange Presbyterian Church, Port Orange, FL. Barbara enjoyed her service to her church and the lifelong friends she made there.

Barbara is predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years, Robert A. Jensen; two sons, Scott Jensen of Greenville, NY; Craig Jensen (Doris Eve) of Glenmont, NY; and daughter Stephanie McGuire (Bob) of Suwanee, GA.

Barbara is also survived by her six grandchildren, Alexandra (Cristian) Ojeda, Drew Jensen, Taylor Jensen, Nicolette (Douglas) Cotter, Devin (Matthias) Gaige, Danika Jensen (Patrick Ryan) and four great-grandchildren Owen Gaige, Nathaniel Gaige, Quinn Cotter and Clara Cotter who will forever cherish their grandma. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Barbara is survived by her two brothers, John M. Dill (Carol) of Deland, FL, Robert C. Dill of Maybrook, NY, and sister Bonnie Dill Svolto (Ernie) of Deland, FL.

Barbara is survived by her sister-in-law Karen Bende of Goshen, NY.

A Veterans Cemetery burial will be held at Orange County Veterans Cemetery, 111 Craigville Rd., Goshen, NY on November 10, 2026, at 11:00 am.
