Anthony Basile

Anthony Basile, 83, of Middletown, died Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY. Anthony was born December 5, 1934 in New York, NY, the son of Paul and Mary Basile. He was predeceased by his wife Carolina Basile, son James Basil and grandson John Behler. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War from 1952 to 1953. He retired as a Truck Driver from Panaflex in the Bronx. He is survived by his daughter, Valerie Behler and husband John of Middletown and granddaughter, Carolyn Ruta and husband Frank of Goshen. Visitation will be Friday, October 26, 2018 from 6-9pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 27, at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist RC Church, 71 Murray Avenue, Goshen. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Wallkill Cemetery, Middletown, NY.
