Annette Vousden

Annette (Nettye) Vousden of Boyton Beach, FL and Montgomery, NY passed on February 29, 2016 in Bethesda Memorial Hospital in Boyton Beach, FL at the age of 84, after a courageous struggle with pulmonary fibrosis, painful spinal stenosis and heart disease. She passed peacefully in the presence of her immediate family who nursed and cared for her around the clock for her last five years with love and devotion. She struggled with grace and dignity although never emotionally recovered from the loss of her beloved daughter Diane in 2010. Nettye is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, Joseph Vousden, their son Joseph Jr., daughters Mary Anne Vousden Quirk, Debra Jean Greig and their families. Nettye is also survived by her sister Elizabeth Palmieri, and brothers Carmine, Frank and Albert Corrieri, their families and her lifelong dearest friend Maureen O'Dea. Nettye left a legacy of 10 wonderful grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren all of whom adored their "Nana". Nettye and Joe Sr. , Both Bronx kids, met February 5, 1949 – love at first sight and their wonderful life together began. They resided for 26 years in Pearl River, NY.
