ANNA R. YOUNG PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK Anna R. Young, 95, of Port Jervis, NY, died Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Valley View Center for Nursing Care & Rehab in Goshen, NY. Anna was born February 26, 1913 in the Bronx, the daughter of Antonio and Rose (Migliore) Balletta. She was the wife of John F. Young and they had a beautiful marriage for 66 years. Anna worked in the Millinery in New York and was a member of the D.A.V. Auxiliary Unit #5--Pocatello, NY. Her main love was caring for her family. She also loved to travel all over the world with her husband. She is survived by her husband, John F. Young at home; son, John A. Young and his wife Margo of Port Jervis; 2 daughters, Cynthia Pousson and her husband Raymond of Chester and Ellen Young of Middletown; sister, Lydia Barone of Congers, NY; 6 grandchildren, Cindy, Jeanine and Raymond Pousson; John, Thomas and Jennifer Young; 8 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 10, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church St., Goshen. The Service will be at 4:00 pm in the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Goshen at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anna's memory to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
