Aniza Buszczak

Aniza Buszczak, 94, of Leesburg, VA, entered into rest on Thursday, May 10, 2018. Aniza was born January 12, 1924 in the Ukraine, the daughter of Michael Rygajlo and Anna (Bayor) Rygajlo. Aniza is survived by her 3 children, Nadia Mendolia (and Sal) of Leesburg Virginia, Irene McLaughlin (and Joe) of Red Hook New York, and Roman Buszczak (and Nancy) of Farmingdale New Jersey, 7 grandchildren, Andrew, Lisa, Joey, Lauren, Stephanie, Christine and Michael, sister Slavah Derhak and numerous nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by her husband Walter Buszczak. Aniza was a bright spirit until the very end. Her sharp wit, her never ending thoughtfulness and support for others, and her enthusiasm for her garden and dogs she cared for was extremely impressive and appreciated by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Visitation will be Sunday, May 13 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 am on Monday, May 14, 2018 at St. Andrew's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Sarah Wells Trail, Campbell Hall, NY with Father Kostyk officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Campbell Hall, NY. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations made to The American Cancer Society in Aniza's name.
