Amalio Lombardi

Amalio Lombardi, 61, of Goshen, NY passed away on Monday, July 28th, 2025.

Amalio was born May 11th, 1964, in Passaic, NJ, the son of Gerardo Lombardi and Lina (Romano) Lombardi. Amalio grew up in Chester, NY, and was a graduate of Chester High School.

Amalio was a foreman and a member of Laborer’s Local 17 for over 40 years. He was extremely dedicated to his job and found joy in working.

He was kind, loving, strong, and his wife and children meant everything to him. Everywhere he’d go, he shared stories of them and how proud he was of all their achievements.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Juliann Lombardi, two daughters and son Amanda, Marissa, and Michael Lombardi.

He is also survived by his mother Lina Lombardi, sister Teresa Fini, brother-in-law Joe, and niece and nephews.

Amalio was predeceased by his father Gerardo Lombardi.

Visitation will be Friday, August 1 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church St., Goshen, N.Y.

A Mass of Christian burial to Celebrate his life will be held 9:30 am on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025 at St. John The Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave., Goshen, N.Y. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Middletown.
