Alice Bast, age 91, passed away on October 28, 2026.

Alice was born in Holland to Jacob Vos and Martje Schipper on March 14, 1935. Alice worked as a nursing assistant at Arden Hill Hospital for many years. We were told she was a "darn good" one too. Alice married Martin John Bast Sr on June 2, 1953 in Circleville NY. They were married more than 50 happy years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Martin and daughter Joann Bast

She is survived by her son Martin Bast, her son Robert Bast and his wife Dawn; Grandchildren John and Jamie Rebekah and Mike and Lauren and Jordan Aaron Nevin and Lauren and Rob; Great grandchildren JP Colin Keegan Lukas Keeve Rhett Taegan Olivia Sunny Emmett and Ellie.

Visitation will be at Donovan Funeral Home, 82 S. Church Street, Goshen, NY 10924 on Monday November 2 from 2-4 pm. Church service will be at Goshen Christian Reformed Church on Tuesday November 3 from 9:30 am -10:30 am with Pastor Joey officiating. Burial will follow at Goshen Veterans Cemetery at 11am. Celebration of life will follow after at the Church gym.
