Alice "Tina" Bast

Alice "Tina" Bast, age 66, of Longs, SC formerly of Goshen, NY entered into rest Saturday, January 22, 2022. Tina was born July 4, 1955 in Goshen, NY. She is the daughter of Peter and Alice Bach. Tina graduated from the nursing program at SUNY Orange with an Associate's Degree. Subsequently, she received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing from SUNY New Paltz in 1975. She was a devoted Obstetrical nurse at Garnet Health Medical Center for 44 years. In 1973, she met Marty and together they went on to have three children and six wonderful grandchildren who she dearly loved. Tina was an amazing, loving mother who gave her all to her family. We will never be able to fill the space she left behind and we will remember her always. Tina was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband Marty Bast, her children, John Bast (Jaimee Sullivan), Bekah Davis (Michael Jewell), and Lauren Smith (Jordan Smith) and six grandchildren, JP, Keegan, Reeve, Lukas, Colin and Rhett. She is also survived by her siblings Beth Klein (Jake Klein), Patricia Howe (Rich Masi), Michael Bach (Perri Bach), Kelly Walsh, and Lisa Putkowski (Mark Putkowski). Visitation will be Friday, January 28 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass will be held in her memory at 9 AM on Saturday January 29, at the Church of St. John the Evangelist, 71 Murray Avenue, Goshen, NY. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
